Who we are

BlastShield was founded in Dubai by three partners from three different worlds.

Twenty years of corporate security leadership as Regional Security Manager across the MENA region. Eighteen years in defense as an explosive ordnance disposal specialist and combat diver. And a first career at the highest level of professional sport, with Brazil's national volleyball team, an environment with no room for error, followed by more than a decade of business presence in the UAE market.

Three different worlds, one common standard: preparation, discipline and execution under pressure. We have spent our careers understanding how threats behave and delivering results for the people who depend on us.

Why glazing matters

In an urban blast event, failed glazing is consistently among the leading causes of injury and operational disruption. Fragments travel at high velocity, deep into occupied space, far beyond the point of detonation.

Yet glazing is also the most treatable vulnerability a building has. That is our founding conviction: a threat that is precisely assessed, properly engineered against, professionally installed for and rigorously maintained stops being an open risk. It becomes a controlled, documented and warrantied element of your facility.
